This is going to be the biggest APE ever with tons of independent cartoonists, artists, writers, and publishers present! There will also be spotlight panels with special guests, including Oakland artist/writer Daniel Clowes. Don't miss out!!!

Halloween Parade & East Bay Vegan Bakesale!

The East Bay Vegan Bakesale will be outside of ISSUES during the 24th annual Piedmont Avenue Halloween Celebration! There will be spooky Halloween treats for sale & all proceeds will benefit the East Bay Children's Book Project and Mickaboo Bird Rescue! Yay!!!! Plus if you bring a children's book to donate, you will receive a free treat! And we'll have our special Witches Brew available inside for the adults, so stop in the store to say hi!
The annual costume parade down Piedmont Avenue will start at 11am at Piedmont & Montell (across from Cato's) and there will also be trick or treating for kids at participating Piedmont Avenue businesses (including us)! So get dressed up in your Halloween best and come participate in the family friendly festivities!
